Surrey Community-Led Flood Resilience Programme
The Surrey Community-Led Flood Resilience Programme, delivered by the National Flood Forum (NFF), is a county-wide initiative designed to empower communities to lead and influence flood risk management. Outcomes include the development of trust between communities and FRMAs, improved understanding of local flood risk, and the creation of long-term, sustainable Flood Action Groups. By fostering co-creation and community ownership, the programme transforms the experience of flooding from trauma into active resilience and hope.
