Join us on Tuesday 15th September, 5:00–6:30pm for our next Flood Focus Webinar with Flood Mary.

Known across the UK as Flood Mary, Mary Long-Dhonau OBE is a nationally recognised flood resilience specialist, campaigner and communicator.

Mary has been a lifelong campaigner for the rights of flooded communities and is one of the UK’s leading experts and advocates for flood resilience. She joins us to talk about flood resilience in all its guises – from practical property protection to community preparedness.

About Mary

Following the flooding of her own home, Mary has dedicated her career to helping people and communities become better prepared for flooding and to improving the support available before, during and after flood events. Mary has worked with government, local authorities, businesses, insurers and community groups for many years, and is widely respected for her practical expertise, tireless advocacy and commitment to ensuring that the voices of flooded people are heard. Her work has helped shape the conversation around flood resilience across the UK, making her an inspiring and authoritative speaker.

In this webinar, Mary will explore the potential of flood resilience measures, where they can make the greatest difference, and where their limitations lie. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from one of the UK’s foremost flood resilience experts and to ask the questions that matter most to you.  Please feel free to send in your property flood resilience questions in advance, and Mary will answer as many as possible during the session.
