NFF CEO Tracey Garrett recently attended Minister Hardy's Flood Resilience Task Force meeting in Manchester with new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

Our CEO Tracey Garrett recently met with the new UK Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, as part of Minister Hardy's Floods Resilience Task Force meeting in Manchester.

During the meeting, Tracey shared the experiences of communities across the country that have been affected by flooding, highlighting the devastating impact flooding can have on people's homes, wellbeing and livelihoods, and the importance of ensuring their voices are heard in shaping future policy.

Greater Manchester is leading the way as one of the only places in the UK with an integrated water management strategy, demonstrating how coordinated action can build greater resilience to flooding and climate change.

We look forward to working with Andy and partners across the country to continue supporting people and communities affected by flooding.
